ASNDUP, or Mode-Sensitive Key Assignments, by Joseph K Horn
...[stuff deleted]...
There are a lot of keys that serve no purpose (other than to beep) when in
PRG mode; for example, 2D and 3D. Now you can assign whatever you want to
them (e.g. programming commands) without losing their non-PRG mode
definitions.
[Note: the ASNDUP program and documentation are on Goodies Disk #5. -jkh-]
Joseph,
I was aware of it but I didn't find any method to solve it. Thank you for
finding the solution!
Here is a table I wrote some time ago, I hope it will help you not to leave a
single key unassigned on the 48 keyboard! If you find any mistake or lack in
it, please let me know.
BS stands for Blue-Shift. [I thought it meant "Be Serious!" -jkh-]

- Also the keys 84.2 (LAST CMD) and 91 (ATTN) are very dangerous when used with
a command line: they deletes the command line without saving it first in the
last four command line, so there is no way to restore it. I think it would be
great to have two safe programs to assign to these two keys. -
-----
Another trick can be to assign to the key 21 (and also to the key 22) an
internal-RPL program that behaves like this one:
\<<
RCLMENU
IP
3
\=/
3
X @ X is the number of another menu you like
IFTE
MENU
\>>
But as before you must find a way to execute it in Program Entry Mode, and I
just don't know. :-(
Sorry for my English.
bye
